The story so far

In 2012, National Grid was granted planning permission to redevelop our derelict Clarendon Gasworks site, as part of the Haringey Heartlands regeneration scheme.

The Haringey Heartlands scheme once completed will form a key part of the London Borough of Haringey’s regeneration goals for the future.

In March 2014, National Grid was granted final planning approval by Haringey Council for the dismantling of the gas holders. The dismantling of the gas holders is the first step towards bringing the land back into beneficial use.

Once National Grid has completed the dismantling and site remediation works, we will hand the site over to our development partner who will bring it forward for redevelopment.
